Women’s Volleyball Ranked In Initial NCAA Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball received a spot in the first NCAA Regional Rankings of 2018. R-MC arrived in eighth in the polling.

R-MC is currently 13-7 and face another regionally ranked squad – Bridgewater – tonight at 7:00 PM. BC is ranked sixth while Virginia Wesleyan is just ahead of R-MC at seventh in the rankings. Washington and Lee is the highest ranked ODAC squad at third. Berry, at 17-2, leads the South Region.

Regional Rankings are a key metric to determine things like seedings for the NCAA Tournament. The metric uses wins, losses and strength of schedule among other factors to determine where teams place within their specific region.
