2009 ODAC Tournament Champions
The Randolph-Macon volleyball team clinched its first ever No. 1 ODAC Tournament seed with 3-0 win over Randolph improving to 9-1 in the conference. Top-seeded R-MC would come out on top with a 3-0 win over Guilford in the semi-final game followed by a 3-1 victory over Roanoke in the conference final. The Yellow Jackets won game one by the score of 25-23, took game two 25-16, had championship point in game three, but RC rallied to win 24-26, but they were able to close out the Maroons in game four 25-18 to take the championship. Raena Winton was named The Tournament's Most Outstanding Player and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Joining Winton on the All-Tournament team were Mallory Carter and Jill Kubichan. The ODAC title would be the first ODAC Championship in school history and would also automatically advance the Jackets to the NCAA Tournament.
The 2009 Team would receive numerous conference accolades taking home Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Reina Winton was named Player of the Year as well as selected to the All-ODAC First Team with teammate, Jill Kubichan. Rookie of the Year, Jessica Sears, was selected to the All-ODAC Second Team along with teammate, April Hines. Bill Rogers would be named the ODAC Coach of the Year as after winning the first conference title in the program and leading the Jackets to a 27-8 season.
